I have read all of these at LEAST 3x minimum. The dynamic between these two characters is so well done that I still somehow can't concretely assign their sexual roles until I see it with my own two eyes. Yaoi is basically a Japanese word that refers to illustrated form of m/m romance comics or animation in their culture. It's almost completely crackish but I can't remember when I laughed this hard at a yaoi manga (and I use the word yaoi loosely because it's quite tame compared to his younger brother's story). Ferisha OMG…you REALLY want to know? And trust me, that's not a bad thing. Even after reading the prequel I still like this one better. After a bit more research on aarinfantasy, I found out about scanlations (pages of manga comics that have been scanned and translated to English) that are actually pages from Japanese yaoi mangas. Originally referring to a specific type of dōjinshi (self-published works) parody of mainstream anime and manga works, yaoi came to be used as a generic term for female-oriented manga, anime, dating sims, novels and dōjinshi featuring idealized homosexual Amusingly enough, they even have little TV mini-dramas that place these boyband members in compromising (that word again) situations that somehow suggest homosexual relationships with each other. It's almost like Yaoi in Bara clothing if you want an analogy. It has the sexy masculine realistic men but with the emotion/love churning turmoil you expect in yaoi mangas.
